Richmond's new Environmental Enhancement Grant now open

The City of Richmond is calling all non-profit organizations to apply for Richmond’s Environmental Enhancement Grant.

This new City grant will help empower local community groups to take positive action on the environment by supporting their sustainable initiatives such as shoreline clean-ups, invasive species pulls, and tree and shrub planting. Grant applications will be accepted from Thursday, December 9 to Wednesday, January 26.

B.C. Paid Sick Leave Impact Survey - closes today!

Effective January 1, 2022, the Government of B.C. will implement Paid Sick Leave for employees across British Columbia.

The BC Chamber of Commerce knows this will affect small- and medium-sized businesses, and want to hear directly from you.

This survey will inform the advocacy efforts of the BC Chamber of Commerce and its provincial network, and your needs and concerns will be shared directly with government.

Survey will close on December 14 at 4pm PST.

Google Business Profile (GBP) is a Google-powered online directory that lets local businesses share vital company information such as hours of operation, products or services the company offers, and phone number. This information is important because shoppers can use it to get in touch with a local business or know their hours of operation.

A company’s GMB page helps the business attract local shoppers: it can drive traffic to its website or foot traffic to its brick-and-mortar store by appearing on Google search results page (SERP) or Google Maps when a shopper searches for local products or services based on the shopper’s location.
