In the spirit of giving this season, Northwood Office made a significant contribution to the City of Charlotte's RENEW workforce development initiative, providing 50 participants with the resources required to succeed in the 13-week paid HVAC and electrical training program.

In partnership with Urban League of Central Carolinas and Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, the city launched the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Workforce (RENEW) Training Program in 2020. In alignment with the Strategic Energy Action Plan, the program prepares local residents for careers that utilize sustainable technologies.
