Robert & Daphne McIntyre Citizenship Award
Benjamin Smith was awarded the Robert & Daphne McIntyre Citizenship Award for 2021 at the Council dinner on Thursday 16 December 2021.
The award applications opened in June and closed in July with the Robert & Daphne McIntyre Citizenship Award Selection Panel meeting in July after interviews were held with the applicants to make a decision on the successful applicant. The successful applicant received $3,000 in 2021 to go towards further education.
There was a very high standard which made it quite difficult for the selection panel to decide on a winner.
Congratulations Benjamin on receiving the Robert & Daphne McIntyre Citizenship Award for 2021. We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.

Telstra Network Upgrade Issues - Please report to the Shire office
The Shire of Dumbleyung has received reports of potential connectivity problems with the mobile telephone network. These reports seem to have coincided with a recent Telstra network upgrade.
There are reports of calls being disconnected (drop outs), loss of connectivity at locations not previously experienced and lower signal strength.
Telstra has informed the Shire that for Telstra to investigate they require specific examples, including phone numbers (caller and receiver), locations and dates.
The Shire has direct contact with the Telstra State Manager and is happy to pass on these examples if anyone would like to send these through.
Please email this information through to the Shire at enquiries@dumbleyung.wa.gov.au
