Another update for families & staff:

Dear HTH staff,

We wanted to pass on a copy of the email we sent to all HTH families who reached out to ask for information after last week's walkout at HTM. Please feel free to forward this link to families who directly request information. They can also sign up using the link below to opt in to getting communications from us. As a reminder, we cannot use official school emails or contact lists (for example, PowerSchool) to communicate information about the union. If you are unsure about a specific parent communication, please get in touch with your site rep.

HTH has a board meeting this week.

We know we have been limited in what we can say directly to parents. We also know it is an impossible week to put together a last minute family information forum. In order to make sure families are informed and to make sure all have the chance to publicly share their voice with our leadership, we are inviting everyone - staff, families, families, and community members - to attend the HTH Board Meeting on Wednesday, December 15th. 

At this meeting, the HTH administration will be "sunshining" - that is, presenting their priorities in order to officially begin bargaining. Although we hoped we could begin this process months ago, we have finally been given two bargaining dates in January. Having a strong turn out from staff and families and hearing from staff in public comment will hopefully help our leadership recognize the urgent issues that are impacting so many of our schools.
