ALC Highlights

Farewell Professor Zhang! This past Friday, members of the ALC community gathered at the Memorial Union to honor Professor Zhang  for 26 years of his contributions to UW-Madison.

Professor Hongming Zhang  will assume a new position at the Macau University of Sciences & Technology (MUST) as Dean of the University International College and the Director of its Educational Development Center. We all wish you the best of luck in the next step of your journey.

Interest: I started with my interests in Asian literatures but other classes about sociopolitical perspectives of Asia I took were the real reason for my major.

Classes: My first class is Asian 100: Revolutionary Asia, and this class provoked my interests and curiosity to explore more about Asia.

Recommendations: Take classes of whatever you like about Asia and you will be amazed by professors and their knowledges here.

Memories: I enjoyed communicating with professors and staffs here in the community and they were very good memories of mind.

Future: I plan to apply GSIS (Graduate School of International Studies) program in South Korean universities.
