Today we are asking for your support of our year-end campaign with a goal to raise $20,000 by December 31st. To date we have raised $2,483 from 14 generous donors. We are counting on our community to support our rebirth as we reemerge from the pandemic, rebuild our team, reboot our business plan, and improve our spaces. As we continue to roll out our year-end campaign, we also want to take this opportunity to celebrate what our supporters have made possible over the past year. You have created a bridge for our organization to get to the other side of the pandemic. When it came time to start reopening our Performance Hall for the 37 classes, 32 events, 25 markets, 24 rehearsals, 7 blood drives, 7 recordings and 3 grocery distributions we have hosted since May, your support ensured that we were ready. Throughout the summer, our Performance Hall served as a rehearsal site for three local orchestras (Boston Festival Orchestra, Longwood Symphony Orchestra and Mercury Orchestra) as they convened for the first time since the pandemic began to sweeten the air and prepare for upcoming concerts.
