The Annual Christmas Celebration was held at
Victoria Park Function Venue,
 and was well attended.

Rob Murray was our lively host, Prizes for Winners of the Plant Competition were awarded by President Pam Butler.

In the Advanced Class, Barbara McCune 
won First in the Mini Show.

In the Advanced Class, Ron Jell
   won Second in the MiniShow.  

In the Advanced Class, Barry Kable 
won first place in the Popular Vote.

In The Advanced Class, Bruce Dunstan won Second Place in the Popular Vote.

In the Intermediate Class, Alfonso Trudu won First place in MiniShow 
and Second Place in the Popular Vote.

In the Intermediate Class, Gilda Trudu won second place in the MiniShow, and
First Place in Decorative Class.

In the Intermediate Class, Maxim Wilson won First place in Popular Vote.

In the Novice Class, Sue Hall won
First place in the MiniShow.
Greg Macleod shared second place in the
MiniShow in Novice Class.
In the Novice Class, Denise Ball shared second place in the MiniShow.
In the Novice Class, Coni Smits won
First Place in the Popular Vote.


Steve Molnar won Second Place
in the Popular Vote.

Pam Butler provided the Christmas Cake
which was ceremoniously cut by
our youngest member, Hayley Meads.

Bus Trip:
President Pam Butler announced a day excursion would be on Sunday 20th march. Cost is $20 (refundable on the day)
 The bus trip will visit the gardens of
Cheryl Basic and Steve Flood.

Annual Autumn Show 2020 will be held
2nd and 3rd of April at the
Genesis Christian College, Bray Park.


Our Annual General Meeting will be held
at our March meeting.

Members are encouraged to offer themselves for positions on the committee. 

In the Plant Competition, there is now a Class 5 - Species, the aim being to promote the collection of bromeliad species. This does not preclude species from also being entered in the other four classes.
