Whoops ...

I had to send another email because I missed the link to the second video. I apologise for the multitude of emails. I trust that you have found some of them informative and others inspirational.

Until next week then.

Werner.
Devotion with PEACE as focus
Advent is a special time in our year. It is when all the decorations go up, we usually sing Christmas carols and there are many a celebration between friends and family. It is also a time of anticipation or active waiting.

This week our devotion takes a closer look at actively waiting during advent with a special focus on PEACE. With so many references to PEACE in the Bible, it soon becomes clear how important this advent virtue is in the ministry of grace. Read along in Colossians 3:12-15, Isaiah 9:2, and John 14: 27, and Philippians 4:5-7 as our minister leads our second Advent devotion for 2021. May God's PEACE be a gift to you and through you to our community! Shalome

This recording was done at the Worship in our garden gathering that took place at 107 Centreway Rd, Orewa on the morning of December 5, 2021. If you did not see the email with the service times that was sent last week, please head to our website. We hope to see you at one of our next gatherings.

We continue our Advent series by taking a closer look at PEACE. Join our minister as we share this devotion. Read along in Colossians 3:12-15, Isaiah 9:2, and John 14: 27, and Philippians 4:5-7 as our minister leads our second Advent devotion for 2021. May Advent be a magical time of expectation and PEACE in your life!!
This recording of the Stellenbosch University Choir is of a song called Baba Yetu, the Swahili version of The Lords Prayer. I found great joy by listening to the song and I hope you are moved by it too.
