Passing the Pen

Hello all.  As I am no longer an Executive Board member, I have not been putting out the newsletter. While 3rd Vice Chair of the Cherokee County Democratic Party one of the responsibilities of my position was Public Relations. As it was an election year, I took that on full force. In addition to handling the FaceBook page, advertising the Precinct and County Convention meetings and submitting a few photos and articles of our activities to the Scout, I decided to start the newsletter and the webpage. I was also tasked with enlisting candidates to do radio spots, creating the WKRK candidate ad slides for the local TV station and creating the full page ad for the Scout. Altogether I enjoyed getting the word out.

Our new 3rd Vice Chair, Evelyn Nastos is the new editor.

I am not going away, I will be installed as 1st Vice Chair of the Tri-County Democratic Women this month. Evelyn Nastos is continuing as our Treasurer. So we invite you to join us at our monthly meetings which are usually the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11:30am at various locations. Democrat and Unaffiliated women are welcome to join. Friends and men are welcome to attend. The meetings are a place to mix and meet with like-minded individuals. Look for our announcements in the Cherokee Scout and the Clay Progress or check out our Facebook page.

Hope to run into each of you at a future Democratic function.

Remember to VOTE BLUE!

Sincerely,
Diane Snyder
