On Friday, December 3, RPA students in grades 4-8 participated in a House Service Day. The day began in the morning with breakfast provided by parents and a talk by Fr. Adams. Then the students moved into the gym for Rosary making and gift wrapping. Our students donated and wrapped over 250 toys that will be delivered to St. Vincent de Paul and Grace Place by our 5th Grade on Tuesday, December 7. It was a beautful day of service, fellowship, and leadership for our students. Semper Altius!
Congratulations to our Royal Palm Academy Scholar Bowl Team for their strong showing in our first practice match of the season. Our teachers and students came to school early for weeks practicing and preparing for the first competition held last week.
We were very happy with the performance of our students given the short notice that we would be participating in the 2021-2022 season. It was a tough competition between all of the schools involved, but Donahue Academy came away with the big win. RPA’s leading scorers were: Riley Staunch (8 points), Paul Borden (8 points) and Adie Werner (4 points). We are looking forward to our next practice match in February… Keep studying! We are so proud of you!
The team would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
