Winter Wonderland 2021 is a wrap! We hope you had a wonderful time on the bounce houses, the sledding hill, the climbing wall, Brian Ledbetter-the amazing illusionist, with the many Enchanting Events characters, Santa and of course the reindeer! The weekend was super successful with more visitors than we've ever seen! Our thanks to all of you who came to spend the weekend with us, who waited patiently in line, who wore masks as requested and who offered us words of thanks and support!
We want to express our gratitude to the sponsors and volunteers that made Winter Wonderland possible. Thanks to their support we are able to keep this event free and open to all. If you enjoyed the sledding hill, take a gander at the photos below that show it being built by Howard Anderson, Brian, plus José Rivas of Reliable Landscaping LLC and Ana Rivas, Ricardo Gomez and Keegan McAdams of United Way Skagit County. In addition to pallets of cubed ice, we had ten loads of shaved ice ("snow/snice") donated by Skagit Valley Farms and Bellingham Cold Storage, with assistance from Farmer's Equipment Company and Iverson Earth Works, LLC. With the extra "snow" we were able to make a really cool snowshoe area, and we're thankful to Yeagers Sporting Goods for lending us so many snowshoes for the weekend!
Stay tuned for Friday's eBlast for information on Winter Camps, Holiday Gift Wrap, and new items in the sensory area of the Toy Store! And if you are a fan of KAFE 104.1's Ernie The Elf, you can find him at the Museum in the Toy Store!!
