WE DID IT! Thanks to the generous support of our FES community, not only did we hit our Annual Campaign Drive goal of raising $12,000, we exceeded it!!

Winter Gear Drive
In just five days, Falmouth families donated123 coats, 82 snow pants, 58 boots and countless hats, mittens and other items to supportlocal families throughMaine Needs.
These bags arrived in a full truck just in time to help Maine Needs meet a large request for coats from Presente Maine, an organization that serves and empowers hundreds of Latinx Mainers working in the seafood processing and agricultural industries.
These donations were also able to meet the need of ALL of the Falmouth families who requested winter clothing during our drive, and another $400 in donated cash was used to purchase new items for Maine Needs.

Recent Happenings
On Friday, November 19, the last Friday before Thanksgiving, the PTO was thrilled to distribute 210 The Maine Pie Co. apple and blueberry pies to Teachers and Staff with labels that read "any way you slice it, we're thankful for all you do!" because we truly are so THANKFUL!
THANKS to the nearly 40 of you and your kids who joined us Sunday, December 5 for our second Playground Meet Up of the year. If you took any pics, we'd love to see them posted on our Facebook page!
Our next Meet Up is scheduled for Sunday, January 2 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the FES Playground. Weather permitting, we'll see you there!
Coming Soon
Our Annual Book Drive will kick off in January and will help us continue to diversify books at FES. This year, we are focusing efforts on expanding classrooms, specialists’ collections and teacher workrooms with 150 new books allocated to educators and all teacher workrooms. Keep a look-out for the launch of the program and details on how you can purchase books to support this effort.
