Webinar: Gender equality in the Nordic energy sector

Sofia Elamson, Adviser at Nordic Energy Research, held a presentation at a lunch webinar on December 2nd arranged by Winnet Sverige. The presentation was based on the report Gender equality in the Nordic energy sector published by NEEN earlier this autumn. The audience was very encouraging and showed support by asking questions.

Interview: Digitalization is a key factor in transforming the energy sector

"Boosting digitalization is a key factor in the energy system transformation, as it makes energy systems smarter, more efficient, and sustainable. Digitalization will have a major effect on future energy systems – that's why the two ERA-Net focus initiatives RegSys and EnerDigit are important," explains Sofia Elamson, Adviser at Nordic Energy Research.

Webinar: Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios

On December 8th, Nordic Energy Research arranged a webinar with focus on the role of bioenergy and carbon capture & storage in reaching carbon neutrality across the Nordics, in collaboration with Energiforsk.
Senior Adviser Kevin Johnsen opened the webinar by presenting results from the report Nordic Clean Energy Scenarios. Keynote speakers included Torjus Folsland Bolkesjø from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Kenneth Karlsson from the Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Filip Johnsson from Chalmers University of Technology, and Markus Wråke from Energiforsk.
