From the Language Flagship Technology Innovation Center

The Tech Center published a series of open, self-paced modules for world language tutors, explaining and demonstrating core second language teaching practices, such as scaffolding authentic materials, providing corrective feedback, and choosing technology to support learning.

The topic of tutoring also inspired a Flagship Exchange Panel; panelists explored how tutoring changed during the pandemic, and what aspects should be retained as institutions return to face-to-face programming.

Two Flagship Exchange Presentations dug deeper into innovative approaches to blended learning identified during the summer Flagship Exchange Panels: on a student film discussion group, and on hands-on art and culture projects.
