Good Sam residents who passed away in the past year were remembered on December 1st in a special service. They were (and still are) a part of the Good Sam family and were a blessing to the Home during their time here. They were loved, cared for, prayed over, and supported. They made a difference in our lives and touched our hearts.

You can view the service on Youtube by visiting our Facebook page, GoodSamHome

Gratitude is offered to:
Susan Worthington, Bethlehem United Church of Christ, pianist
Jordan Duncan, Boone Funeral Home, soloist
and Rev. Brian Buschkill, St. Peters Highland UCC, video & online production

Christmas is Coming!

As you prepare for the holidays in your own homes, the Good Samaritan Home has Christmas festivities planned too! Residents will enjoy many activities related to the season, including a Christmas Reception complete with music. Featured artists include residents Billie Hall and Juanita Jackson, joined by Judy and Colleen of the Auxiliary, and staff members Francis, Sawyer, Rosemarie, Elaine, April, and Elizabeth. Look for pictures from all of our Christmas activities in January's edition of this newsletter.
Good Samaritan honored veterans for their service to our country.

Marvin Weber (left) served twenty years in the Air Force. A total of sixteen veterans were honored.

We appreciate Jeff Brewer of Heart to Heart Hospice for hosting the Veterans Day Program at Good Samaritan Home.

Transport Van Update

Kudos to you! We are more than 2/3’s of the way toward purchasing a new Transport Van for our residents. Churches, families, and individuals have stepped up with strong support for the effort, and we are grateful for you!

Every day residents of the Home need rides to doctors’ offices and other healthcare appointments. Those rides will be more comfortable for our residents with a new van. The van will be specially modified, with a wheelchair ramp and special features to make the ride secure, safe, and snug.

If you or your church would like to participate in the On the Road Campaign, please visit www.goodsamhome.org/on-the-road to donate, or contact:
