Congratulations to Padmini Rangamani, Ph.D., a 2021 Recipient of the Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Postdoctoral Scholar Mentoring

Congratulations to Padmini Rangamani, Ph.D., Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, for being selected as a recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Postdoctoral Scholar Mentoring. This award recognized faculty mentors who serve as effective advisors, advocates, role models and colleagues to their postdoctoral trainees, and who consistently promote and actively engage in many forms of mentorship.

Finalists and recipients were honored at a virtual Awards Ceremony during National Postdoc Appreciation Week. Links to the ceremony recording and keynote address can be found on the Postdoc Office Website.

Brain, Mind, and Body: Cognitive Neuroengineering for Health and Wellness
A Virtual Symposium and Workshop

This is the second in a series of symposia and workshops (previously held at UC San Diego in 2019) that brings together researchers and practitioners across academia, industry and the clinical profession to catalyze advances in unobtrusive neurotechnology and cognitive neuroscience towards more effective and sustainable healthcare through holistic integration of engineering and medicine with a focus on minimally invasive strategies, including neurofeedback and electroceuticals, that harness harmony between brain, mind, and body.
 
The program calls for contributed interactive poster presentations and live demonstrations of neurotechnologies.  Topics include: Brain-machine interfaces, Wearable devices, Unobtrusive and minimally invasive neurotechnology, Electroceuticals, Neurofeedback, Connected health, Cognition and health, Neuromorphic neural interfaces, and Artificial and natural intelligence
