Bring a Coach Education Course to Your Club!
Are there coaches at your club that need training? You can bring an NCCP Coach Education to your club for your coaches and coaches in the region! Email jennifer.brown@bcathletics.org if you are interested in hosting an NCCP Sport Coach (1.5 days) or NCCP Club Coach (2 days) this spring.
Club Coach Certification is the minimum requirement for a number of Team Coaching Positions. Express Interest by January 10th, 2022

Complete your NCCP Performance Coach Training
Are you interested in completing or starting your Performance Coach (old level 3) training? Athletics Canada is currently revising the requirements and coaches have until Dec 31st, 2022 to complete Performance Coach under the current requirements. If you are interested in starting your training this spring April 15-18th, express your interest in the link below (location to be determined based on interest). If you have started your training and have questions about completing all requirements, email jennifer.brown@bcathletics.org for details.
Performance Coach is required for provincial head coaches and national teams coaches. Please express interest by January 14th, 2022.

Planning is underway for the 2022 Outdoor Track and Field season, and it's going to be a full and exciting season! We have a number of BC Teams that will be seeking Head Coaches, Event Coaches and Team Managers for the following events:
- 2022 U20/Sr. Canadian National Championships, Langley, BC (June 22-26, 2022)
- 2022 BC Summer Games, Prince George, BC (July 21-24, 2022) - Note: Each Zone will be seeking a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches
- 2022 Canadian Youth Legion Championships, Sherbrooke, QC (August 5-7, 2022)
- 2022 Canada Summer Games, Niagara, ON (August 16-21, 2022)

Renew Your Membership for 2022 Now!
Both Club and Individual memberships can be renewed for 2022 now.
Attached members contact your Club Register, Unattached members click here.
Club memberships must be renewed for 2022 on Trackie.me prior to 12/31/21 in order to have access as of 1/1/22.
An up to date (every 5 years) Criminal Record Check is required for those obtaining or renewing "Coach", "Associate" or "Official" memberships.
Proof of Vaccination may be required for some roles, as per the Updated Provincial Health Order. Please note that the Orders can change quickly, you can stay up to date with the current PHO as it relates to sport on our COVID-19 page.

BC Athletics High Performance & BC Team Fund - Donate Today!
BC Athletics provides support for athletes and coaches with the goal of strong representation and podium performances at National championships, advancing more BC athletes to National Teams, and Podium Performances at International competition. You can support the BC Athletics High Performance & BC Team Fund through a donation (Tax Receipts can be issued) to the BC Amateur Sport Fund.
