The eighth Lyrids Folk Dance Festival is going ONLINE Saturday, April 30, 2022
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we cancelled plans for an in-person festival for a second year. The April 2022 festival will be held online. Teachers to be announced later.

You will need to register to attend for FREE.
Plans include dancing, singing, and drumming workshops, a cultural talk, and a dance party with a live band. Specific plans are in process. We have sufficient funds to guarantee a minimal payment to the workshop teachers, musicians, and performers. We will be soliciting donations from festival participants. After we cover event costs, all donations will be distributed fairly between the workshop teachers, musicians, and performers, in addition to what Lyrids is paying them for the weekend.
