I'd like to take a moment to announce the 4th annual Herring Barrel young adult retreat taking place next weekend, January 7-9 at ULC. This is an opportunity for young Lutherans ages 18-30 to meet other young Lutherans, hear speakers address relevant topics, and enjoy worship and fellowship together. This year our guest speakers will be Rev. Hans Fiene, creator of the YouTube channel "Lutheran Satire" and Joy Pullmann, executive editor of The Federalist. They will speak on “The Fatherhood of God” and “What Really Makes Women Happy?”, respectively.

We do our best to provide free housing to all participants by connecting them with Boulder-area hosts for the weekend. However we are currently looking for two more people to host. If you live within 25 minutes of Boulder, we would greatly appreciate if you would consider hosting two or three participants in your home.
