Are you concerned about climate change?  Are you considering renewable energy options?  If so, join the January 10, 2022 WHNA General Meeting  (6:30-8:00 PM)  via zoom from the comfort of your own home.  We will have a presentation by Brandon Olson,  our neighbor and co-owner of Olson Solar Energy.  Brandon will give a short presentation about types of solar systems and their advantages followed by questions from the meeting attendees.  The meeting can be accessed at whna.org and by clicking on the button marked "Click to Join Meeting."  The button will activate at the time of the meeting.

REMEMBER!  The meeting will be on Monday, January 10th, 6:30 PM via ZOOM.

The program will be followed by a short business meeting to discuss the January Board Election and the topics for the General Meetings for 2022.

WHNA BOARD ELECTION TIME

The pandemic has interfered with our normal election cycles—According to our bylaws, 4 Board members would be elected in odd years and 3 Board members elected in even years.  We currently have 5 members serving on the Board with 2 open positions.  Three of the current Board were up for re-election in 2021 but extended their service on the Board to provide stability to our association.  We would like to have a full Board (7 members) in 2022.

On January 10th  we will begin electronic voting for our 2022 WHNA Board.  There are three open slots for 2-year terms and two open slots for one-year terms.  Eligible voters will be receiving a link to the ballot via email and have until January 31st to cast your vote.  Write in candidates are allowed with the permission of the person being written in.

We need your input!

Tell Us Your Thoughts!
Every year the City of La Crosse designates CIP (Community Improvement Program) funds for various improvements throughout the city. These funds are designated for projects that improve the City's infrastructure, safety, beautification, etc. CIP funds are being used to replace the Weigent Park shelter and have been designated in the past to help neighborhood associations realize infrastructure improvements within their boundaries (think the new play structure in Weigent Park, boulevard trees and the rapid flashing beacon on Cass and 21st St).
The WHNA Board is interested in learning what other improvements you would like to see within the WHNA boundaries. Don't hold back, let us know your top five concerns or desires for Weigent-Hogan by completing the survey on our web site. Go to https://whnalax.org/landing/surveys/survey-cipfunding/ to complete the survey.
Thanks!
The WHNA Board
