New Year's Brunch

Greetings from Wyler Antiques!!

We hope that everyone has been having a wonderful Holiday Season. At the same time, thoughts can be about how to celebrate the New Year! A wonderful way to ring in the New Year is by having brunch with close friends, great food, and of course some hopefully tempting pieces courtesy of Wyler Antiques!!

Beginning to set the table for this occasion, we start with this antique French Faience Bowl. A charming flower arrangement in this bowl would help show the "weave" decoration displayed on the outside of this piece. This bowl makes a very attractive centerpiece.

Our set of 6 Antique English clear plates with a "scrambled" green design, helps make for a very festive look and feel. To add more color, we have selected our clear English Georgian Wine Jug that is ideal for holding mimosas or bloody Mary's. These beverages would look great in this jug and it does encourage one to partake of our morning drinks.

A delicious way to start the New Year is with some caviar - how inviting it looks in our English Silver Bowl which is decorated with Greek key and cartouches. Our English Sterling Silver Caviar Spoon in its case is perfect to serve it with.

The "scrambled" design on the plates gives us an incentive to have scrambled eggs and we have the perfect Italian Silver Plated Frying Pan for this endeavor. The Frying Pan is so easy and wonderful to use as one can serve straight from the stove or oven - just attach the attractive wooden handle. Rolls and bread can be served in our Italian Silver Plate Bread Basket.

Finishing brunch with tea, our American Sterling Silver Tea Strainer works quite well with a George III Antique English Silver Teapot.
