The Nourish team would like to wish you a happy holiday as we wrap up 2021!
We know that these past couple of years have been full of challenges, and we appreciate that you have continued to stay connected with us.
Over the course of 2021, we heard and amplified stories, built awareness around issues including food insecurity and poverty, led cooking demonstrations, supported community gardens, improved food access, and continued to build a sense of belonging in our community.*
It has been heartening to see people coming together still, even in such difficult times.
Although we may be physically isolated from one another this winter, we hope that you will be able to connect with your loved ones, whether that's over Zoom, on the phone, via text or email, or even by post. (Who doesn't love getting a real letter?)
We have been striving to find ways to create and maintain connections between community members despite the limitations of the pandemic, because we know the importance of relationships. We want everyone in our community to feel seen, heard, and valued.
While we are taking a break from Dec. 24th into the new year, we hope that you will carry the spirit of our work with you.
