WiO's largest annual event is coming soon, this February 7th - 11th. We're excited to share all of the great events we have planned for you, like an Optical Sciences Town Hall, an Allyship Panel, an Imposter Syndrome workshop, and our classic cookie decorating event.

Optica is launching a significant scholarship and professional development initiative to support women studying optics as undergraduates or in graduate programs. The application window is Feb. 9- Mar. 15! Check it out with the button below.
 

This month, we're holding our first "Lunch & Learn", sponsored by CVI Laser. A representative of CVI Laser brings us lunch and a great conversation about being underrepresented in STEM. 

Starting this Spring, WiO will be implenting a point system to reward our most active members. For each event you attend, you'll earn a certain amount of points. At the end of each semester, we'll be handing out prizes for various point levels. Join us and earn some points this semester!
