We have two exciting announcements as we round out this year. First, we have art to share with you! The piece below was created by poet and theologian de'Angelo Dia as Kinship Plot's first art commission. This three-minute video condensed the longer performance art piece Dia created back in October. We are grateful to the following artists and technicians for creating this vision and call to kinship:

Second, registration is open for the next online learning cohort, Our Entangled Existence, which will explore kinship with the earth and non-human creatures. Ecological destruction, climate change, and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic are impacting all of us. These cracks have awakened many to the danger of denying a deep and fundamental wisdom: we are all connected.
How are we to live on this wounded earth that we are complicit in abusing? What does it mean to be faithful creatures on God’s earth, not as dominators but as tender kin? These are questions of Christian discipleship and repentance that intend to transform not condemn. Knowing these issues have been under-attended in church communities, we are eager to welcome you to this learning and practice space.
