As promised, this is the first issue of the Travis & Emery quarterly newsletter! December began with the unveiling of our blue and white Christmas window:

Last week on Tuesday evening we were delighted to be a host shop for the Cecil Court Christmas Party, with carols sung by members of Hesperos choir in aid of The Connection at St Martin's. You can listen to a clip here. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a bit of proper Christmas after the lack of carols last year, and the many visitors to the court gave generously and enjoyed some refreshment, including a pie decorated in our honour. We hope to be back next year, and give advance notice next time!

If you're still looking for a late present, you can either browse our catalogue on AbeBooks as usual, or pop in to the shop - our opening times over the holidays are as follows:

24 December: 10:15 - 14:00
25-27 December: Closed
28-31 December: 10:15 - 18:45
1-2 January: closed
3rd January onwards: normal hours
