Hi SHASA Supporters
A big thank you to all of you who assisted SHASA during 2021. We had a big year and below are some of the highlights. Let us know if there are things you would like SHASA to do in 2022.
2021 SHASA Highlights
Increased participation of our members in many projects including:
$1,048,000 grant to upgrade the two Central Tilba Halls including a big battery and solar PV system
The SHASA Nissan Leaf has had 54 people take a test drive and 6 SHASA members have purchased an electric vehicle.
Installed solar, batteries, HEPA air filters, back-up generator, fire pumps, fire hoses to turn Moruya PreSchool into a heatwave and bushfire haven for staff, parents and pre school children.
Provided 1,500 fruit trees and native trees to bushfire victims
In partnership with South Coast Community kitchen provided a weekly food box to 25 low income families.
Repaired over 400 items at the SHASA Repair Cafe.
Installed solar and batteries on Marine Rescue Narooma
