Tuesday night, CFC hosted an emergency briefing to inform Californians about the latest breaking news — and shared what YOU can do — about Planned Parenthood and Gavin Newsom’s brazen attempt to radically EXPAND abortion across California using YOUR taxpayer dollars.
 
With the Dobbs case sitting before the U.S. Supreme Court, California officials are actively seeking to become a sanctuary for abortion – likely without any restrictions whatsoever.
 
We cannot let that happen.

Sex-Trafficking Survivors, Anti-Trafficking Orgs, and Legislators Urge Veto on Bill Legalizing Streetwalking

Governor Gavin Newsom is getting pressure from sex trafficking survivors, anti-trafficking and family-values organizations, and a bipartisan group of legislators to oppose a bill already passed by the legislature to legalize loitering for prostitution. A letter asking Newsom to veto SB 357 was made public today and signed by 28 survivors, 12 elected officials, nearly 100 organizations, and over 800 individuals.

Year-End Wrap Up and Merry Christmas!

Yesterday, CFC President Jonathan Keller and Director of Capital Engagement Greg Burt stood in front of the state Christmas tree on the west steps of the capital in Sacramento. They reviewed all the legislation CFC has tracked over the last 12 months and talked about some big opportunities for 2022.
