Upcoming Vaccine Booster Clinic
Metro we will be hosting a vaccine booster clinic on Jan 18th beginning at 10 am. Individuals must meet the following requirements:
exactly six months from the second dose of the Covid vaccine to get the booster.
Please bring your insurance cards, their IDs, and their vaccination cards with you on the day of the clinic. Registration is required at www.metrosda.org/vaccine

Church In-Person Service
In-person service will continue each week. We must maintain a list of all who attend the service for safety reasons, so pre-registration is open from Sunday to Saturday at 10 am. Walk-ins are PERMITTED, with on-site registration available.

Nehemiah Project

This research aims to explore how Black parents and caregivers communicate about sexual health with their children and the beliefs and perceptions that may impact their communication behaviors about sexual health. Black parents and families are an understudied population regarding sexual health and health in general. This study seeks to add to the growing body of scholarship that focuses on the lived experiences of black families.
To participate in this study, you must be:
At least 18 years old,
Identify racially as Black, African American, Afro-Caribbean, African immigrant, or biracial or multi-racial with African descent, and
A parent or guardian of a child(ren) between 2-24 years old.
The link will direct you to a survey that will take about 20 – 25 minutes to complete.

Our Kids program meets at 10:30 a.m. every Sabbath on the Zoom Platform. Our children worship with children in Jamaica for the first half-hour, then separate to the class for their age. Kids Connect is for children nine and younger.
