FGW RIS Fund

Current call: Call for proposals 2022 - I, deadline 27 January 2022
The UvA Faculty of Humanities offers the Research Innovation and Sustainability (RIS) Fund that aims at supporting staff with research time in their career development and expanding their opportunities to conduct research. Through the RIS Fund staff can apply for temporary teaching release in order to have more time to write grant applications, or to finish one or more (substantial, strategic) publications so as to strengthen their track record for an upcoming grant application.

Anéla/VIOT Juniorendag 2022 – Call for Abstracts 

On Friday 22 April 2022, the annual Anéla/VIOT Juniorendag (junior research day) is hosted by and at the University of Leiden. At the Juniorendag, BA and MA students, junior researchers and PhD candidates in the field of applied linguistics (language use, language acquisition, education, discourse, or communication) get the opportunity to present their work through an oral or poster presentation. In addition, the annual Anéla-VIOT Thesis Award is granted to the best MA thesis in the field of applied linguistics.
