Hi <<First Name>>,
What a year! Hope you are all well and safe.
It has been a busy year and we have started lots of fantastic projects for great clients, so I wanted to say a big thank you to you all and to all the inspiring people we have worked with.  Let's hope 2022 is a good year and we wish you, your family and colleagues all the best -

NEW, CONTEMPORARY HOME IN GRADE II LISTED GROUNDS COMPLETED!

A new home for Pat and Rose in their 80's in the grounds of a grade II listed hall in Surrey.  The care that Glen put into the build is evident.  Just the bride soleil over the path to add in. Knapped flint and slate are locally used materials.  The split roof form and L shaped plan reduces the sense of scale on the site, tucking the build neatly into the garden.

CONTEMPORARY HOMES

Completed at the start of the year is the family home for Dave and Meg.  We added 96sqm to a corner plot in North Kingston and the house has been transformed.  A great team and pleasure to work on.  Sean and Joe - fantastic job, thank you.

HOME FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER

Also just completed this year, a ground floor refurbishment and extension for Kris and Jasmin. Kris is a food photographer, so to design a light filled kitchen was a fantastic brief.  The whole of the ground floor has been opened up to create a sociable home, connecting to the landscaped garden.  The shape of the roof light and timber overhang has been designed to prevent overheating in summer. Finished photos to follow early next year.

COOMBE LANE

For this project the semi-detached period home in Coombe was stripped right back on all floors and remodelled internally.  We also extended out the back with a dramatic roof form.  The sloping site allowed us to step down into the main rear living area, creating a stunning, high vaulted ceiling, clad externally in zinc. Completed photos to follow!

NEW PROJECT
2022 looks to be another busy year with two large projects on site for some lovely clients.

- New, contemporary, light filled, family home in Hampton started on site in October due to complete summer 2022. Natural materials, natural lighting design and play with double height pitched roof forms are central to the design.

NEW PROJECT
Starting on site in the spring-

 - Sustainable refurbishment in Coombe, sketches below. We are transforming a poorly insulated and laid out large family home using natural materials, green roof, ASHP, photovoltaics and a ventilation system to greatly improve the quality of living spaces and connect to nature.

WHAT'S ON IN LONDON?
Hmm.....Looks like this section is going to be empty for a while but let's hope the boosters kick omicron into touch.  So take this time to take a break, catch up with a Christmas film and chat with friends.  Take care and see you on the other side for hopefully a culture packed 2022 spring time onwards!  Happy Christmas everyone.
