December 2021 Update

    This past month, we had the great joy of spending Thanksgiving with our family and sending church. We were reminded of all those that are behind us while we are on the mission field. We are so thankful for each of them and praise God for his amazing blessings. During the holiday week, we also got to see a fellow missionary family who has been working in Nepal. We met them in Kathmandu and have been so encouraged by their ministry with the deaf community in Nepal. Please pray for the Devkota family as they will be returning to the work in the New Year. 

    As our first furlough draws closer to the end, we are praying that the borders of Nepal remain open. We miss our home and our friends very much. Our heart is also burdened to get busy in the work of reaching Nepal with the gospel. This week, Nepal closed its borders to several countries where Covid is having its greatest effects. We trust the Lord to allow us to return in his timing and are comforted by the knowledge of his power. Pray with us that we will be able to return in April 2022!

    I would like to inform you of the Our Generation Summit hosted by my mission board, Vision Baptist Missions in Alpharetta, GA. They dates for this conference are December 27-29, 2021. I would encourage you to come and be a part of this missions emphasis week. You will be challenged and encouraged in the great commission of our Savior. This conference has always been a help to me and my wife as we pursued God’s plan for our life. You can find more information for this conference at visionmissions.org. Pray that God would use this week to raise up more laborers for his harvest.
