Serving the Community While Building Skills – It’s a Win-Win!

AHE's Acute Care Internship gives AHE students and alumni the opportunity to tackle real, live, acute cases while receiving peer mentorship and supervision in real time. As a bonus, all the data is collected to support outcomes-based research projects run in conjunction with Homeopathy Help Now and HOHM Partners Foundation. To date, the team has seen close to 2,500 cases. Practitioner Gwen Khanna took advantage of this experience and highlighted:

“This journey has been incredibly rewarding and the skills I have gained give me an unbelievable jump-start to a private practice. It would have taken me over 5 years to appreciate the variety and intensity of complex cases along with the urgency and the execution of HHN’s methodical discipline.”

New Clinical Training Opportunities for AHE students

This year AHE launched the new “Acute Lab” to support students while they are taking on acute cases through the acute care internship. This Acute Lab helps students brush up on their acute care skills in preparation for the fast-paced acute cases they will be taking through the hotline. This lab is in addition to the extensive live clinical training AHE offers which includes more than 50+ clinic days each year. Every student has access to more than 1500 live, participatory hours of clinical training.

Individual supervision is now included in the AHE tuition and all students are eligible for our externship and residency programs to ensure success in practice. The support of HOHM Foundation makes it possible to offer these new initiatives without any increase in tuition.

Ways to Get Involved

Are you interested in sharpening your acute care skill set and brushing up on your therapeutics knowledge? Do you enjoy working with other practitioners solving complex acute cases? These initiatives have been such a success that we want to share it with the larger homeopathy community. HHN (Homeopathy Help Network) will be accepting applications for additional CCH or RsHOM practitioners to join the team! Both volunteer and paid positions are available. If you are ready to work in a fast-paced environment with amazing, committed practitioners who are committed to raising the bar in Homeopathy, contact Veronica Wolf for an application. vwolf@ahe.online

NEW WEBSITE ARTICLE  - The Benefits of studying Classical Homeopathy with Prof. George Vithoulkas
In this helpful article, Prof. George Vithoulkas lays out the considerations for the serious student wishing to undertake a career in Classical Homeopathy…

The main problem that a professional homeopath faces today is this: finding the school for the best possible education. While there are different ways of applying homeopathy, Hahnemann taught only one way, and it is obvious that he knew better than anybody else how to apply it correctly: one must try to find the unique homeopathic remedy that fits the individual case. However, Hahnemann’s way is a rather difficult one, which requires a lot of detailed attention on the part of the homeopath who is taking the case and is searching for the correct remedy.

PUBLISHED ARTICLE - The Controversy Over the “Memory of Water” by Prof. George Vithoulkas
For a very long time, the idea of the “memory of water” tantalized not only the homeopathic community, but also serious scientists and researchers like Luc Antoine Montagnier, a recipient of the Nobel Prize. This left the scientific community in confusion as to whether: a) water has memory, or b) homeopathy is or is not a valid system of therapy. Professor George Vithoulkas, as an an eye-witness to these events from their very beginnings, gives an account of the real story for both the homeopathic community and the skeptics.

All Registered members are required to complete 20 CEU's for NASH at the time of your renewal.  The CEU's need to occur within the current membership year. CEU's required for NASH do not carry over to the next year nor do they need to be from only ACHENA accredited schools.  Documentation is becoming more and more important; keep track of what educational activities you participate in.

For a complete list of what can be used for CEU's, click here. If you have questions about your continuing education, please email
nashinfo@homeopathy.org.

NOTE: NASH webinars cannot be used towards NASH CEU's as many have to do with business issues rather than clinical advancement.
