Hi there,

The only thing that was on my calendar when we moved to San Francisco in 2015 was a month-long yoga teacher training. Not because I wanted to be a yoga teacher, but because I wanted to take the unique opportunity to deepen my practice in the capital of hippies, love and incense.

I loved how the training helped me to improve my yoga poses, but I appreciated even more how yoga impacted my mind, and how the poses, the breathing exercises and the meditations fostered confidence, clarity and calmness in me.

Naturally, I started to incorporate these practices into my work as a coach.

One of the yoga-inspired tools I love is guided visualization exercises, where I bring my clients in a meditative state to see what comes up when they connect with their subconscious rather than their more superficial, often repetitive, thought patterns.

A month ago, I decided to start sharing my visualization exercises beyond my coaching practice. And the exciting news that I wanted to share with you today is that I uploaded a series of recordings of my favorite visualization exercises to my website 🤩

I can’t wait to listen, bring me to the download page!

Here’s what I’ve created for you:

VISUALIZATION 1: CONNECTING WITH YOUR BODY

We live in a very brain-focused society. Expanding our mind to include our body's wisdom allows us to better understand our needs and boundaries, reduce stress, have deeper connections with others and the world around us, and handle difficult circumstances.

Learning how to do this was key in my recovery from bore-out - which is why I am so excited to share this practice with you as well.

VISUALIZATION 2: RECONNECTING WITH YOUR CONFIDENCE

I believe confidence is not a personality trait. Rather, being confident is a skill. That means you can train your confidence muscle, similar to how you train your actual muscles. One way to train your confidence muscle, is to see yourself through the eyes of your friends and loves ones.

But that’s easier said than done.

That’s why I recorded a visualization that will make it easy for you to see yourself with more loving eyes.

VISUALIZATION 3: VISUALIZING YOUR SUCCESS

Here’s a little secret about your brain: It can’t always tell the difference between something you’ve imagined and something that’s actually happened. Athletes therefore often use visualization techniques to prepare themselves for a big game.

Research has shown that visualization can increase an athlete's ability to perform well under pressure. And it can also help us mere mortals achieve our humble goals.

That's why I recorded a visualization exercise that can help you achieve your goals, however big or small.

VISUALIZATION 4: YOUR EMOTIONS AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION

Most of us haven’t learned how to be with our emotions. We either tend to suppress them, or get completely overwhelmed with them.

Suppressing used to be my go-to strategy, until I found myself in a couple's counseling session, completely unable to answer the question 'how does that make you feel'.

On the journey that followed, I learned to reconnect with my emotions, and to see them as a source of information rather than something that 'gets in the way'.

And guess what?

I've recorded a visualization exercise to help you do the same🤩

VISUALIZATION 5: LETTING GO

I know you have them in your life too, these people that get under your skin every. single. time.

Maybe you get extremely upset every time you have a meeting with your boss, or maybe your ex is still making you miserable by showing up in your dreams every night*.

Why can’t you just let go and focus on what is important to you, rather than obsessing about others?

I've created a recording for you that helps you to let go of frustrating interactions with others, or the negative impact they have on you.

Letting go doesn’t necessarily mean that you completely let go of this person in your life.

It can simply mean that you want to let go of certain interactions with them, so that you create space for a healthier relationship.

Sounds good right?

*Ahum yup based on a true story, funny you should ask…

VISUALIZATION 6: RELAXATION

It worries me that our society seems to value 'being productive' above almost everything else, to the point of exhaustion.

I'm the first to admit that I also step into the productivity trap all the time, pushing myself just a little bit more to get more output.

But thanks to my yoga teacher training, I also know that if I allow myself to relax and calm down my nervous system, I am much more creative, more able to see the bigger picture and I actually make better decisions.

That's why I felt a deep desire to include a relaxation meditation into my visualizations package.

VISUALIZATION 7: SUPER SECRET BONUS RECORDING

Nope, not going to tell you yet what this one is about - but it’s been a powerful one for me😏

Curious to try the recordings out? Why not buy them as a little Xmas present to yourself, or for a loved one🤗

YES I want those visualizations!

As always, I’d love to hear from you!

Wishing you a nice calm end of the year, and a beautiful 2022!
