The Canadian Association of Lutheran Congregations (CALC) is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Coordinator.
The position is open for a two-year term, and may be renewed by the National Council for successive one year terms.
The position is responsible to the President and reports regularly to the National Council
The position will regularly attend meetings of the National Council, Board of Elders and Board of Trustees
The position is a part-time position. Compensation $1,000.00 per month. The candidate works from home
Duties of the Position
Maintaining of the records and archives of CALC
Maintaining the roster of Pastors & Congregations
Responsible for day to day business operations of the central office
Act as the first point of contact for CALC
Act as liaison, with committees of CALC as directed by the President and National Council
Assist in convening of meetings of the National Council
Compile, edit, publish, and distribute various correspondence of CALC
Maintain CALC’s websites
Work with local congregations to arrange regional cluster meetings
Take a lead role in organizing details of the AGM and annual Pastor’s Study Conference
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and experienced administrator.
It would be preferred if the candidate is a member of CALC. The candidate will be expected to fully subscribe to and uphold CALC’s Constitution and Confession of Faith.
