AS/NZS 4777.2: 2020 Compliance.

The recent changes to the standard in relation to DC isolators has caused some confusion within the solar industry, and Sungrow have had many phone calls and emails in relation to whether Sungrow inverters can be installed after 18/12/2021.
 
Q: Can Sungrow Inverters be complaint if installed after 18/12/2021?
A: Yes, Sungrow’s current range of inverters (refer to the document for full details) can be installed and compliant after that date (please refer to the document listed below for full details).

There is however a simple process that the installer must complete in order for the install to be compliant. This is a simple procedure that involves updating the firmware, then re-commissioning the inverter to the new AS/NZS standard (the new standard is included in the firmware update).
