AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS – Our Success Stories
The Association of African Universities (AAU) and eLearnAfrica are inviting stakeholders from African Higher Education Institutions to sign up and benefit from the numerous opportunities and functionalities of the AAU-eLearnAfrica Learning Management System (LMS).
This platform is supporting the efforts of higher education institutions in Africa, through the provision of FREE eLearning tools to make online education accessible, while generating income for schools, universities and institutions. This initiative was launched on July 7, 2021, during the AAU’s 15th Quadrennial General Conference of African University Leaders and is expected to benefit 400 Universities, and 20 million students in Africa.
The AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS educational content is available through a website (the “Portal”) and a mobile application (the “App”) AAU LMS (elearnafricalms.com)
Kindly Note: Professors and Universities’ profiles are created by the AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS IT team (lead) in collaboration with the universities’ representatives.

Key Achievements
Since its launch, on 7th July 2021, the AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS has successfully onboarded 60 universities in the LMS. We are inspired by this achievement and recognise the extraordinary milestones we can achieve in creating big and positive impacts when we work together with partners and stakeholders of African higher education.

Steps to be followed by students to access course content
Students can access the course via a browser or via a mobile APP - AAU LMS - Apps on Google Play. In both scenarios, the following steps should be followed.
- Open the course link and click the join button
- A Batch Section will Open. Click on ‘Join Now’
- For first time users, a login page will open for registration
- For already existing users, please login with username and password
- After login, the student is redirected to the subscription page to subscribe by paying $10.
- Following payment of the subscription fees, the student will be given access to the course content.
