We made it through another year! While 2021 was challenging, it presented unique opportunities for collaboration, connection, and the growth of new ideas. Thank you for your continuing support and generosity, we can't wait to see what 2022 has in store for the library and the City of Fulton!

WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE
We're closing out 2021 with an event that aims to give back to the community and those in need. From now through the beginning of January, we are collecting winter clothing items to be donated to Catholic Charities in Fulton. We are accepting new or gently used winter coats, boots, mittens/gloves, hats, and scarves.

WE'RE TEAMING UP WITH THE YMCA
|
|
We're teaming up with the Fulton Family YMCA to bring you the opportunity to experience the wonderful things our local YMCA has to offer! The library has added a Family Membership to our collection that you can now check out with your library card for 7 days.
You'll have access to Group Exercise Classes, Sauna, Steam Room, Fitness Center, Open Swim, Gymnasium, Kids Club, and other free classes for youth.
To get started:
- Visit us at the library and check out the membership on your library card. *Please call ahead to see if it's available. We do not allow holds or renewals on this item.*
- Go to the YMCA, scan in at the welcome desk, and sign a waiver.
- Pick your class or activity!
- HAVE FUN!

READ TO SADIE!
Sadie, and her handler Sharon, from PAWS of CNY, will be visiting us on January 4th from 4-5 pm! Come meet Sadie, make a new friend, and read a book to her. PAWS of CNY is a wonderful organization that provides pet-assisted wellness services to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges and universities, libraries, airport travelers, and community partners in Onondaga, Oswego, Cortland, Madison, and Cayuga Counties. NEW MEMOIR BOOK AVAILABLE EARLY JANUARY

The Fulton Public Library and memoir committee are excited to announce the release of the newest book in the Fulton Memoir Series. The latest book in this collection, Echoes of Faith: Memories of Fulton Churches, is a nostalgic and comprehensive look into the history of faith communities in Fulton, NY that begins with the indigenous people who once inhabited the area and brings us to the present. This is the sixth book in a series of historical perspectives on the city of Fulton. Project team members used interviews with former and current faith community leaders, parishioners, and members of various churches to compile this collection of memoirs.

The book will be available for purchase in early January. Due to a publishing delay, we don't have an exact date, but we will let you know when we have that information. Books are $15 each and will be available at the library, the Village Shops in Fulton, and the River's End Bookstore in Oswego. We accept cash, PayPal, and check (checks can be made out to Fulton Public Library). Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

We're excited to announce that we have just added 5 Kindle Fire Tablets to the collection! You can check out one of these devices for 30-days at a time and they come pre-loaded with Libby and Hoopla. All you need is your library card to sign in to these apps and start borrowing ebooks, e-audiobooks, movies, tv shows, comics, and music!
