Why Your Donation Matters!
Redwood Empire Food Bank: What We Do
The Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) collaborates with local and regional partners to obtain and distribute the equivalent of more than 40,000 meals every day. REFB has more than 300 of its own direct service distributions, and partners with 170 other hunger relief organizations. Together, they form a network of over 450 weekly and monthly distribution sites serving all residents facing food insecurity.

REFB serves its communities through three initiatives:

Every Child, Every Day
Includes four robust programs that address the nutritional needs of children, targeting both schools and seasonal meal gaps.

Senior Security
Serves a monthly average of 4,800 low-income seniors healthy, fresh food across our five-county region.

Neighborhood Hunger Network
Strives to improve the health and well-being of our community with food and nutrition education.
