New Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Speaker Series

Perspectives on Multidisciplinary Care for Children with Autism Services
The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center is starting a new education series that will focus on research and service/training models designed to make developmental care more accessible for children with autism and their families. 

The first session in the series is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 21 at NOON. Paul Carbone, MD, Professor, Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah, will be speaking on "Roles of the PCP in Early Identification and Long-Term Management of Children with Autism."

How to Download Your Transcript / Certificates
The end of the year is drawing near (!) - and you may need to turn in your education credits. Here's how to download your transcript and certificates if you have attended any of CPF's education talks:
  • Visit https://vumc.cloud-cme.com/default.aspx
  • Sign-in using the email you used to create your account (Sign-in button is on top left of menu bar)
  • Once signed in - click the orange "My CE" button on the far right of the menu 
    • You'll then see options to view transcript, certificates, and more
  • Reach out to CPF Program Manager Preston Spencer at preston.spencer@vumc.org with any questions.

"Febrile Infants Clinical Practice Guidlines"
Thursday, Feb. 3 | 6 PM

Donald Arnold, MD, MPH, Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will be leading a talk on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 6 PM over Zoom discussing the new clinical practice guidelines for febrile infants.

We've got more fun events planned coming up!!

CPF is holding a virtual Physician Painting Class - hosted by Sips n' Strokes - on Feb. 10 at 7 PM. All attendees will receive a kit in the mail with paints, canvas, and everything you need!

And our Annual Meeting for members will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Nashville on April 19, 2022 - with a cocktail reception at 5:30 PM and Dinner Program at 7 PM. Don't miss out!!

CPF Suicide Prevention Trainings and Resources

CPF is partnered with Centerstone TN and the Tennessee Department of Health to offer pediatric practices a variety of resources related to suicide prevention and mental health. 

As part of the program, we are offering practices suicide prevention trainings for staff (providers, nursing, or office staff - we'll bring you lunch!) and custom-made handouts and patient education materials.
