Welcome to the last issue of Monday Funday for the year.
I hope that whatever holidays your family celebrates, you use this time of year to reflect and cultivate an attitude of gratitude for the blessings in your life.
This week I'm sharing the joy of troubleshooting. It's been a week full of challenges and holiday stress, but I choose instead to focus on the joy of making it past them. It takes a lot more than a bump in the road to stop a driven person from getting to their goals.
I've spent the last year as an eLearning designer pretending to be a motivational speaker because the world needs more joy. I've spent 150+ hours making these videos and writing this newsletter in the past year. If I had only one message to share from it all, it would be that we can't control the world around us, but we get to choose how we respond to it. Even Mondays can be Fundays. I hope you make the most of the holiday season and cherish the loved ones in your life.
This week's joy is inspired by the unexpected challenges that surprise us all.

The world is in a better place than it was this time last year. We aren't out of the pandemic yet, but if you're looking for them, there are inspiring stories of humanity coming out on top of adversity.
Where I live in KY, there are a lot of people in the western part of the state dealing with destruction caused by the recent tornado. And through it all, we stick together and help one another, because despite our flaws, people are pretty great.
This newsletter is going to shift in tone next year and be more focused on tangible designs that tickle your learner's taste buds, but with my same spirit of optimism, joy and humor. Thanks to anyone who's been with me this year.
