Hello Positopians,

Mandy and Jonathan here!

We hope you've had a good year 😊We can't believe it's already nearing the end of 2021!

While the holidays always bring a sense of joy, warmth, and cherished memories, we also wanted to share a powerful message we recently came across:

"You’re going to come in contact with an awful lot of people who are at their absolute breaking point this season. Friends, family, co-workers, teachers, strangers in the grocery store, retail workers.

While it may be the merriest time of the year for some, it’s the saddest, loneliest, most stressful, most heartbreaking for so many others.

We’re all busy, but we’re not too busy to be kind, caring and patient. Remember the best thing you can give someone right now is love."

~Amy Weatherly

We hope that as this year ends and another begins, a sense of love defines our actions. John Watson once said, "Be kind; everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

May everyone find new adventures this holiday season and opportunities in the new year! Thank you for being our amazing Positopians! 🎉

The most wonderful time of the year can also be the most frazzling—even in non-pandemic times. To help you enjoy this month to the fullest, we asked experts for scientifically proven ways to stay healthy (eat your prebiotics) and happy (let go of perfection!).

Implement these eight ideas now, and thank yourself later.

Written By Anabelle Doliner, Newsweek

A three-year-old boy from West Midlands, U.K. dialed police after his mom fell unconscious earlier this month, having picked up the skill from an unlikely source: a YouTube cartoon. 104 year-old woman learns to read and write

Written by Victoria Pressler, The Good News Hub

When she reached the age of 103 Kuttiyamma was given the opportunity to learn. Watching her great grandchildren reading and writing gave her the inspiration.

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something.

So that's my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you're scared of doing, Do it.

Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”

~Neil Gaiman

Here's to a safe and wonderful end of the year as we continue on!
