Adventurer Crew Socks & Stuff Toy Drive
The Adventurer Club is collecting crew socks to distribute to the nursing home and new stuff toys to donate to Washington Hospital for sick children. Our Adventurer Counselors will be at the church to collect donations between 11:15 am and 11:45 am.

Church In-Person Service

Children’s Ministry is requesting volunteers for assistance in preparing for our annual event, One Starry Night.
Volunteer opportunities available on Sunday December 19th from 1-5pm (indoor decor and gift packaging) Wednesday December 22nd (prep for exterior tents and tables) and Thursday December 23rd (event set up) 3-5 pm.
This research aims to explore how Black parents and caregivers communicate about sexual health with their children and the beliefs and perceptions that may impact their communication behaviors about sexual health. Black parents and families are an understudied population regarding sexual health and health in general. This study seeks to add to the growing body of scholarship that focuses on the lived experiences of black families.
To participate in this study, you must be:
At least 18 years old,
Identify racially as Black, African American, Afro-Caribbean, African immigrant, or biracial or multi-racial with African descent, and
A parent or guardian of a child(ren) between 2-24 years old.
