If you have a computer that you use for business, you may have some reasons to upgrade it before the end of the fiscal year. Improving the productivity of the machine you are relying on for business is worth doing. Here's some upgrades to consider doing before the end of the year, or placing an order to do if you won't be able to actually schedule the work until later. 

Upgrade from a hard disk drive to an SSD. If you are using a computer for business and it still has a slower HDD, it is very much worth it to upgrade it to a faster and more reliable Solid State Drive or SSD. The performance difference is amazing!

Upgrade the memory (RAM). If your business computer has 4GB or 8GB of system memory, you may want to double it to either 8GB or 16GB. The amount of memory determines how many programs you can have open and how much data displayed before the computer starts slowing down by having to go to much slower disk memory, with what Windows used to call Page File. 

Get a spare or additional computer. If you are doing business and rely on a computer, but only have one... that could be a significant problem if that computer fails or has issues that keep you from using it for work. Purchasing a spare is a good idea. I recommend that people who use their computer for business have both a laptop and a desktop computer with all their business applications and data on both machines.
