On Friday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced the application of additional public health and workplace safety measures, including capacity and social gathering limits, effective at 12:01 a.m. on December 19, 2021. These measures are intended to help curb transmission and continue to safeguard Ontario’s hospitals and ICU capacity as the province rapidly accelerates its booster dose rollout.

In accordance with provincial regulations, the City of Niagara Falls will be implementing certain closures for patrons attending City recreational facilities. 

As of December 20, 2021: 

• to protect our most vulnerable population from the highly transmissible Omicron variant, all Coronation Centre programs and activities operating at MacBain and the Coronation Centre will be cancelled until further notice.

As new regulations come into effect, we request your patience and cooperation as we adapt to the new provincial requirements.
