I'm eyeing 2022 with... excitement?

Well hello, you. Happy holidays? I mean, happy is relative but hopefully there's some joy and comfort in where you're at and you're finding some ways to be pleased and pleasant and stay warm with a responsible amount of friends and family.

Good news: there's a new year coming! Of course, it's hard not to glance askance at 2022's arrival and wonder if it's bringing us more of the same 'languishing in pandemia' vibes.

And yet, I'm feeling relatively festive and optimistic. That's what this time of year calls for, and of course, with 2022 as-yet unwritten, we can all afford to project our hopes and dreams onto it.

So, before I pack up shop for the holidays, I wanted to fire off this quick email with my Christmas playlist for this year, so you can ring in your holidays properly. It's not quite as festive or upbeat as in years prior, and I feel like that's right on the mark.

Plus I've got prep for Remote Pep Talks Season Two, and of course, underpinning it all, a foundation of festive year-end/year beginning good cheer and warm wishes,

Festive holiday playlist

I made a Christmas playlist on Spotify, as I like to do. If you like your holiday music relatively mellow (and tending toward Christmas, then you'll enjoy this collection.
Aaaaaaand, if you prefer your holiday mixes a bit more eclectic and upbeat, my friend Shane has you covered!
I'm very happy with how Remote Pep Talks season one turned out and the response it received. It started as a not-fully-formed idea, and became a very personal, heartfelt and (I hear) entertaining pod that people enjoyed.

If you haven't yet heard it, this episode, on "Career Transitions" is the most-listened-to episode of season one.

Remote Pep Talks, Season Two

I'm making preparations for season two. If you have a thought-provoking question, situation (large or small), or just any quandary at all that you're looking for some input on, send me an email outlining it in brief (or going into painstaking detail, if you prefer).

I'd love to hear from you, and also will potentially use it to craft an insightful and thoughtful audio response to it.

The end...

...Of the year is coming. I hope you have lots to celebrate, both from these past 365 days, and the 365 yet to come!
