First Look at My 2022 Workshops and Courses

The main update I want to report is that I have laid out my 2022 conferences, retreats, and workshops schedule as I know it so far--so some of the events aren't taking signups yet, and are subject to change.

However, I want to tell you about three online events early next year, all of which are now open for registration:

• On January 24 I will moderate a discussion with three in-house children's book editors, sponsored by the Metro NY SCBWI.  Tickets and more information (it's $15 to SCBWI members, $20 to everyone else.)
• The next Crash Course in Children's Publishing--Everything You Need to Know, starts February 9. As always, this Highlights Foundation course features 10 weeks of live and pre-recorded material. Special guests: author Leah Henderson on character development; agent Linda Epstein on writing query letters.  
• Also starting in February, I will be part of a new program: Ready Chapter 1's "Novel Academy"--a 10-month course designed to help writers take a novel from idea to query stage. Each month, a different master teacher shares their expertise, and I will be teaching about revision in July. More information, including details about the faculty, and to register.
