UnBroken Spring is a volunteer-run event that can only be held safely with an essential number of volunteers across many areas and departments. Recently, Lunacy: reEntry 2021 was cancelled several weeks before the event because the volunteer recruitment levels were critically low, and due to various reasons, there were no Lead volunteers for several Safety departments.  Here are steps you can take to help make UBS 2022- Illusions a reality:

Guardians secure the event boundary from potential gatecrashers. While often an unseen presence at UnBroken Spring, they are an essential part of maintaining a safe event.

Attend the UBS GUARDIANS TRAINING - Jan 29-30 at 2016 Johanna Dr.

The Guardians Lead must familiarize themselves with the event property, boundaries and terrain. With the support of Safety Area Facilitators, they are responsible for recruiting and scheduling volunteers for event shifts, as well as supporting and transporting volunteers on-site.

January 29-30 Volunteer Orientation, Trainings and Social
Held at 2016 Johanna Dr. - a weekend of area and department meet ups, volunteer trainings, art/ops projects, and volunteer socials.  Guardians training is scheduled with more details soon!  

All ticket sales will go through UnBroken Spring website.  Art tickets will go on sale in December 2021 and Tier 1 in January 2022.

All attendees to UBS 2022 must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This means you have received all required doses of your vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the event. CDC recommendations will be followed and vaccination specifics are subject to change before the event.

All ticket holders will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to ticket confirmation.

No refunds will be offered for UnBroken Spring 2022. UnBroken Spring is the primary fundraiser that allows the 100% volunteer-run non-profit to sustain the Houston Burners warehouse and overhead expenses. The event supports a community space to create and foster burner art and activities. Over the past two years, UnBroken Spring 2020 and Lunacy 2021 were both cancelled and refunds provided, however it isn't something that can be afforded for a third year.
