Dear friends

2021 was a “CCC" year - Change, Challenges and Confidence. Change in every aspect of life; health, family, job, friends, you name it…, related or unrelated to Covid-19. These Changes, often brought great Challenges. Many lost their loved ones due to Covid-19 or other causes. Emotional, financial and other Challenges suddenly knocked on our life’s door. There will be empty seats around our Christmas table, this year. As for the future, it looks bleak and uncertain for many of us. But, through it all, a still small voice whispered in our hearts "have Confidence in God for "even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you (my God) are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23.

Change and Challenges are a part of life. No one escapes them. But the last C makes the difference - Confidence in God. Without it we crumble in the face of painful Changes and Challenges. He is indeed with us as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, of suffering and uncertainty. We can put our Confidence in Him.

So, as we move into another CCC year, let us remember that He never leaves us nor even forgets about us. 

May you be of good health and, if health does fail, may He comfort you and grant you His peace, as you put your Confidence in Him.
