PLT - Ohio: Meet Our New Support Staff!
Hello, everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am the support staff and Natural Resources Technician for PLT-Ohio and the Division of Forestry! I am a recent grad from Otterbein University, majoring in Environmental Science and had been working primarily in wildlife and research prior to starting with the Division of Forestry. I had my first taste of working with Project Learning Tree in 2019 through a training provided by the amazing education staff at the Dawes Arboretum and have loved every opportunity working with it since! I am very excited to be a part of the Division of Forestry and PLT teams, and if there are any questions, don't hesitate to reach out at ashley.hansen@dnr.ohio.gov

Children, especially, have been shown to exhibit fewer behavioral concerns and develop a greater tendency towards connecting with others. You can learn more in reading this article put out by the Children & Nature Network!
