HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A NEW YEAR FULL OF JOY AND HAPPINESS!

I can claim that I grew up in a palace. A palace that was built in 305AD by the Emperor Diocletian, now the city of Split.
I learned to walk there, I went to school there, I made a superstitious point of coming in and out of it through a different gate every time. I’ve seen it evolve into a magnificent host to all types of travellers, from those seeking authenticity to those looking for glamour. I have always loved it, but early on I took it for granted. Only later did I become very proud of it: of its incredible grandeur, its beautiful piazzas, narrow streets with uneven stone, quirky galleries and shops, the little orchard in the middle of it, someone’s white crisp sheets hanging on the line above, the beautiful promenade by the sea, fountains and temples. And its teeming life that never stops.

I picked its architecture, gourmet delights, great cafes and a happy vibe as my favourite things about it. And now I am sharing this love letter to somewhere entirely magical with the world.
